Speeches

My speech topic is wild animals I chose this topic because I know lots about wild animals.

When I presented my speech I felt excited. What I did well was I spoke loud. What I could have done better was I needed to have more eye contact.

Speech Topic: Wild Animals

Have you ever wondered why wild animals are so bad? A wild animal is an animal that is not tamed and needs to find their own food.  I believe that wild animals are bad and here are my 3 reasons why.

Firstly, wild animals are bad because they attack animals such as kiwi and other animals. Wild animals like to eat kiwis eggs and other birds. If wild animals kill all these animals and eggs then they are at risk of becoming endangered or even extinct.

Secondly wild animals are bad because they can attack humans if they try to prey on them, enter their territory or destroy their habitat. If you go out hunting you may come across a wild pig and it may try to attack you.

Finally wild animals spread diseases like the corona virus and ringworm to humans and other pets. People and animals end up getting sick and some diseases may even lead to death.

I believe that wild animals are bad because they attack animals, attack humans and spread diseases.

Part Whole Thinking

I have been leaning about part whole  thinking. This helps me with my addition and subtraction thinking .
I really enjoyed working with Mrs Craig.
I liked it because it was fun. I liked using the materials to explain my thinking.
